Ramazan

Introduction
H

oly Month of Ramazan is the very important month in Islam being the month of Allah. During this holy month, Ramazan sub-committee of Jamaat organizes different religious programs including Quran Khwani, Diniyat class, Dars and others. Since the beginning, Kanodar Shia Isna Asheri Momin Jamaat is conducting various religious programs during the Holy month of Ramazan. Previously these programs were held on the residence of members for the holy month and then within old mehfil premises. After shifting into Al-Momin Square, all activities have been conducted within the center in a more organized manner.

Diniyat and Round Table classes

Every year Diniyat and Round Table classes are conducted during the holy month of Ramazan. Round Table is conducted within senior classes. Below are the classes organized according to the School Class standards:

  • Class Nursery – KG: Talimaat-e-Ehlebait (AS) Diniyat course
  • Class I – II: Talimaat-e-Ehlebait (AS) Diniyat course
  • Class III – IV: Talimaat-e-Ehlebait (AS) Diniyat course
  • Class V – VI: Talimaat-e-Ehlebait (AS) Diniyat course with Round Table
  • Class VII – VIII: Talimaat-e-Ehlebait (AS) Diniyat course with Round Table
Written Examinations

Examinations are conducted for the momineen and mominaat during Ramazan. These examinations are organized on the basis of the pre-circulated syllabus of topics related to Seerat-e-Masoomeen (AS), Fiqh and Ikhlaqiyat.

Written examination groups are divided on the basis of following categories:

  • Group A: Ages 15 to 19 years
  • Group B: Ages 20 to 24 years
  • Group C: Ages 25 years and above
  • Class VII – VIII: Talimaat-e-Ehlebait (AS) Diniyat course with Round Table
Quran Khwani

Quran Khwani is the program organized during Holy month of Ramazan in which a group of momineen recite Holy Quran turn by turn each day. Through this daily recitation, fully Quran is completed by the Shab of 27 Ramazan.

Daily Dars

Daily Dars is conducted every year in which Aalim-e-Deen gives lectures on Islamic topics ranging from Seerat-e-Masoomeen (AS), Fiqh and Ikhlaqiyat. Daily Dars is combined with the following important events commemorated during Ramazan:

  • 10th Ramazan: Shahadat of Hazrat Bibi Khadija (SA)
  • 15th Ramazan: Wiladat of Hazrat Imam Hasan (AS)
  • 19th Ramazan: Shab-e-Zarbat of Maula Ali (AS)
  • 21st Ramazan: Shahadat of Maula Ali (AS)
Shab-e-Qadr

In order to have the blessings of Shab-e-Qadr, Aamal are organized from midnight of each Shab till Sehr time. Aamal of Shab-e-Qadr are organized during the nights of following Ramazan dates:

  • 19th Ramazan
  • 21st Ramazan
  • 23rd Ramazan

During each holy Shab-e-Qadr following sequence of activities are organized:

  • Majlis / Dars (During shab of 19th and 21st Ramazan, Majlis-e-Shahadat-e-Maula Ali AS)
  • Individual Aamal including Namaz of Shab-e-Qadr and Quran recitation etc.
  • Aamal of Quran conducted by Aalim-e-Deen
  • Jaushan-e-Kabeer recitation
  • Sehri
Prize Distribution Ceremony

This ceremony is conducted to appreciate and to distribute gifts among participants of all above activities. It is conclusive program of all the activities performed during holy month of Ramazan in which prizes are distributed among following participants:

  • Quran Khwani participants
  • Diniyat and Round Table class participants including position holders
  • Written Examination participants including position holders
  • Teachers of Diniyat and Round Table classes
  • Rozay-dar kids (boys and girls as per designated age groups)
Namaz-e-Eid

Namaz-e-Eid is organized within Al-Momin Square in which momineen participate in large numbers to offer the holy Namaz of Eid-ul-Fitr. Following is the program sequence:

  • Recitation of Dua-e-Nudba
  • Namaz-e-Eid-ul-Fitr
  • Khutba of Namaz
  • Ziarat-e-Imam Hussain (AS)
